- Bombay Natural History Society
- The Bombay Natural History Society is today the largest non-government organisation (NGO) in the Indian subcontinent engaged in nature conservation research. In the 120 years of its existence, its commitment has been, and continues to be, the conservation of India's natural wealth, protection of the environment and sustainable use of natural resources for a balanced and healthy development for future generations.

- Cooper Ornithological Society
- The Cooper Ornithological Society, an organization of over 2,000 professional and amateur ornithologists, is one of the largest ornithological societies in the world. The Society was organized in 1893 by a small group of individuals in California who were interested in the study of birds. The name of the Society commemorates an early California naturalist, Dr. James G. Cooper.

- Haribon Foundation
- Haribon Foundation began as a party of bird watchers organized by Mrs. Alicia Busser with Dr. Robert S. Kennedy and Mr. Pedro C. Gonzalez as scientific advisers. This nature appreciation society evolved into a full-pledged nature conservation organization and in 1983 became a conservation foundation under the helms of Dr. Celso R. Roque and Dr. Colin P. Rees.

- Hong Kong Bird Watching Society
- Hong Kong is an excellent place to watch birds. It is famous for the large numbers of Eastern Palearctic waders that occur on passage, and the territory regularly attracts other species that are major rarities in Britain or North America.

- Malaysian Nature Society
- One of the nation's last remaining pristine forest area has been proposed as a pioneer project in 'so-called' sustainable logging practice - logging with helicopter. It claims to have very little impact on the forest's natural ecosystem and can help provide economic returns while providing for forest conservation.
