Cascade Lake Recreation Area & Campground, Brevard, NC

Description
Cascade Lake Recreation Area & Campground is the only access point to Cascade Lake in Brevard, NC. It's not the biggest of lakes, but the water quality is pristine and the scenery is fabulous. The water stays cool year long, but they do have a smaller 'lake' with a beach that makes for great swimming in the summer months. This is a great campground for young and old alike. The management keeps this campground SPOTLESS. The restrooms are absolutely clean. They expect everyone to help keep it that way however. The campground contains 160 sites, and is adjacent to Dupont State Forest. Canoe and paddleboat rentals are available, and firewood is usually readily available for purchase at the camp store.
To sum it up, this is a very nice, very well kept campground -- one of the nicest I've seen. During summer months, they patrol in the little golf cart which really gives you extra peace of mind. Highly recommended!
