Description
North Mills River Recreation Area & Campground is located along the Mills River, in Mills River, North Carolina. This campground and recreation area is quite nice, has restrooms, water, and has many charcoal grills, firepits, and areas for tents. There is no electric or water hookup for RV'rs though. This is a nice campground that stays quite busy during the summer. I've seen it sold out many times.
There are two forest roads that connect to this campground. Both offer many very awesome tent camping spots that are open year round. These are all first come first serve though, and pretty much everytime I've tried to find a spot to camp, they have all been packed full. This is a popular area!

Directions
From Asheville Airport: Go head toward Brevard on Highway 280, making a right onto North Mills River Road. Stay on this road for 5 miles or so, and it will bring you directly to Mills River Recreation Area and Campground.
