- Cumberland Gap Hiking and Biking Club
- Experience Tennessee hiking and backpacking at its best! The Cumberland Trail (CT), a Tennessee State Scenic Hiking Trail, became Tennessee's 53rd state park in 1998. The Tennessee hiking and backpacking trail is also Tennessee's first linear park, following a line of high ridges and deep gorges along or near the rugged eastern escarpment of Tennessee's Cumberland Plateau.

- Smoky Mountains Hiking Club
- The Smoky Mountains Hiking Club is a group of people of all ages who enjoy the outdoors together. We offer activities such as hikes, backpacks, campouts, and picnics. We maintain a section of the Appalachian trail and promote conservation throughout the region. Come join us if you enjoy the wilderness and want to help others do the same.

- Tennessee Eastman Hiking & Canoeing Club
- Our mission is to provide a program of hiking, paddling, and similar outdoor recreational activities. The Club seeks to establish and expand area hiking trails and provide education in outdoor skills and safety. TEHCC was founded in 1946, and is headquartered in Kingsport, Tennessee. As of September 23, 2003, we had 562 members.

- Tennessee Trails Association
- The Tennessee Trails Association is a non-profit (501c3) organization, founded in 1968, whose mission is to promote the development of a state wide system of hiking trails. TTA is also a member of the Southeast Foot Trails Coalition, which promotes an interconnected trail system in the southeast.
