If you are new to astronomy, contact an astronomy club near you and ask if you can join them on a stargaze or meeting! If you are like me, you will be introduced to some of the nicest folks around, and see some of the coolest things ever! One look at Saturn's rings or a transit of Jupiter's moons... you'll be hooked!

• Bays Mountain Astronomy Club - The inaugural meeting to form the Bays Mountain Astronomy Club took place in November of 1979.  The first official meeting of the club took place in 1980.  Since its inception the BMAC has been an organization of volunteers that enjoy all aspects of astronomy and sharing their combined knowledge with everyone.  (Added: 28-May-2004)
