If you are new to astronomy, contact an astronomy club near you and ask if you can join them on a stargaze or meeting! If you are like me, you will be introduced to some of the nicest folks around, and see some of the coolest things ever! One look at Saturn's rings or a transit of Jupiter's moons... you'll be hooked!

- Central Texas Astronomical Society - The Central Texas Astronomical Society builds telescopes, hosts public stargazing, and supports original research. We are completing our new research grade observatory, making outstanding equipment available to educators, amateurs, and professionals. Membership is open to anyone interested in astronomy.
