- Arizona Mountaineering Club members participate in rock and ice climbing, bouldering, hiking, mountaineering, alpine and other exciting activities in Arizona and surrounding areas. To learn, we offer beginning rock climbing and ice climbing classes stressing good climbing & self-rescue techniques. Also offered are classes in anchors placement, ropework and lead climbing.

- n January of 2002 “Tucson Wall Crawlers” (TWC) was born. It started as the dream of a young climber (James Higginson) who simply wanted to share his adventurous exploits with anyone who was interested. It has since evolved into an ongoing project of research and development for a future indoor climbing center and outdoor guide service for Tucson, Arizona—as well as a long-term dream of geographic expansion throughout the western United States.
