Trail Description:

The Camp Creek Trail is a short downhill trail that leads to Camp Creek. Fishing is permitted, and a sign at the bottom of the trail states the size limit, etc. This trail seems to be a good place for the locals to fish and drink, as the trail is littered with bottles and garbage. The first 100ft are dotted with lovely white splots of toilet paper as this seems to be quite the popular pee spot. One thing worth mentioning about Camp Creek Trail is how strenous of a hike this has become, due to the damage of the 2004 tropical storms / hurricanes. Trees have been wiped out at this spot and the damage is very apparent.

Directions to Trail head:

From Linville (heading North) Go past Linville Falls, the overlook is at mile 315.5 and will be on the left.
