Trail Description:

The Devil's Courthouse Trail is a fairly short walk, but steep. It's a wide, paved trail pretty much till you get near the top, when it turns into a gravel trail with a few steps. The panoramic view at the top is breathtaking. A great spot for sunsets!

Directions to Trail head:

From Asheville: Blue Ridge Parkway to mile marker 422.4. The parking area is just after the Devil's Courthouse Tunnel on the left.

Special Notes:

  • Do not stray off the trails! There is delicate plant life here, and leaving the trail surface could damage rare and exotic plant species.
